She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Kihara of Pahoa; her children, Gary Kihara (Debbie Connally) of Volcano, Clyde Kihara (Mari) of Pahoa and Cynthia Shinshiro (Cory) of Pahoa; and her brothers, Walter Hiraishi (Ruby) of Kailua, Oahu and Jack Hiraishi (Gail) of Honolulu. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
