With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julie Ann Yamamoto of Pahoa, Hawaii, born in Hilo, Hawaii, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024. In the vast expanse of eternity, Julie Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Julie Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Danny K. Yamamoto Sr. of Pahoa; her close friend Kawena Shrewsbury of Pahoa; and her children, Danny K Yamamoto Jr. (Kim) of Illinois, Clarice Kahele of Hilo, Colin Yamamoto of Utah, Alexander Lucas of Hilo, Shannen Nugent (Brock) of Washington, Tara Kahalioumi (Kristin) of Kona, Kaleo Luis of Maui, LaVerne Tolmie (Ernie) and Jimmy Lucas of Hilo. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and eight great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
