He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kalei Mahi Kahaleua of Pahoa; his children, Justin Kaupu of Kapolei, Jeremy Kahaleua (Tabi) of Keaau, Roland Mahi (Megan) of Hilo, Kekoa Mahi (Jazmine Lynn) of Pahoa, Peaches Kaupu of Hilo and Jadelynn Kahaleua of Pepeekeo; his grandmother Turtle Mahi (Keoni) of Keaau; and his siblings, Elliott Kahaleua (Veronica) of Clarksddle, MI, Daniel Kahaleua of Hilo, Tammy Kahaleua of Hilo and Elizabeth Mesa of Hilo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
