He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Sylvia Gago; his children, Shantel Adolpho (Jay), Sina Hanohano (Heirama), S'mon Gago, Sheanee Lopez (Rodney James) and SeanHenry Gago (Ashley); and his siblings, Eseneiaso Auelua (Sone), Thelma Faifili (Sampson), Janeen Kaka (Milton), Pelelini Valavala (Taupule), Sampson Gago and Suaesi Gago (LaTina). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
