He is survived by: his children, Edeen T. Gouveia (Henry G. Acia) of Hilo, Ruby Kobayashi (Robert), Christine Asuncion-Mattos (Russel) of Keaau and Edward A. J. Asuncion of Hawaiian Beaches; and his siblings, Lynette Retuta (Ronald), Rosaline Auna (Paul) of Honolulu, Angel "Gloria" Asuncion, Helena Asuncion, Clayton Asuncion (Eileen), Kirk Asuncion, Shirley Crawley of Honolulu and Angel Sarong (Gail) of Hawaiian Beaches. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one-great-great-grandchild.
