He is survived by: his children, Duane Nishimori of Paauhau, Dyke Nishimori of Lihue and Dawn Matsui (Destry) of Hilo; his siblings, Yoshio Nishimori (Marlene) of Owensboro, Kentucky, Florence Higa of Honolulu, Sonja Gumbs (Ted) of Hilo and Jane Miyasaki (Warren) of Hilo; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Walter of Columbus, Nebraska, Nancy Nishikawa of Seattle and Sachiko Tsutsui of Waipahu. He is also survived by four grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
