He is survived by: his wife Netty Joanes of Ocean View; his children, Jamesbond Joanes of Ocean View, Jackton Joanes of Ocean View, Hilton Joanes of Ocean View, Joanes Peter of Kailua-Kona and Limina Joanes of Ocean View; and his siblings, Kosma Joanes (Selitha) of Marshall Islands, Renson Joanes of Ocean View, Jebitka Ioanes (Elsie) of Kailua-Kona, Levty Joanes of Kailua-Kona, Emily Joanes of Kealakekua, Linda Wabol (Ben) of Saipan, Miako Gideon (Benson) of Ocean View and Darling Ioanes of Kailua-Kona. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
