It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcelina Fernandez Castaneda of Naalehu, Hawaii, who passed away on October 31, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Candido Castaneda of Naalehu; and her children, Charito McFadden of Waiohinu, Elena Buyuan (Barry) of Pahala, Benito Castaneda (Veronica) of Waiohinu, Efren Castaneda and Robin Castaneda of Naalehu. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
