It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Roger Kahoali'I Nobriga of Mililani, Hawaii, born in Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Tori Kaneshiro. He is survived by: his children, Jordan Kaneshiro of Laupahoehoe, Kayla Nobriga of Laupahoehoe and John Roger Kahoali'i-Moore of Missouri; his close friend Rhonda Valera of Honolulu; and his siblings, Joanna Ford (Bradley) of Oahu, Joel A. Kahoali'I of Oahu, Jonathan K. "Fatz" Kahoali'i of Oahu, Jason "Fluff" Kahoali'i-Antonio (Bethany) of Kona, Jarod Kahoali'i (Shaney) of Hilo, Jaime "Braddah" Kahoali'i (Shawn) of Kurtistown and Reuben. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
