He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Pine Kauai Sr.; his son Kyle Kaaa; and his siblings, Andrew Kauai Jr. and Stephanie Kauai. He is survived by: his wife Terri Kauai; his daughters, Breana Kauai (Jeff) and Alissa Kauai; his stepfather Merton Kekiwi Sr. (Jan); his sons, Waylon Kauai and Cody Perreira; his siblings, Cheryllee Fukumitsu (Alden), Doreen Kekiwi, Willy Kauai (Nalani), Richard Kekiwi (Bambi), Merton Kekiwi Jr., Charlie Kekiwi (Leena), Haia Auweloa (Carolyn), Dana Gibson and Kaimi Kona'aihele; and his aunt Esther "Eke" Auweloa. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 hanai grandchildren, and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
