He is survived by: his son Christopher (Christo); his wife Linda Wallihan of Sacramento; his sons, Peter Sims and Christo Sims (Gigi Sims); his sister Elizabeth Lorang; his brother-in-law Joseph Lorang; his granddaughter Riley Sims; his daughter-in-law Paloma Checa Gismero; and his nephew Nicholas Lorang.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions to the Dutch Flat Community Center.
