He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Masaichi Oshima and Patsy Toyoko Oshima (Tateishi); his wife Midori Oshima (Kaneshige); his children, Byron Oshima (Syeree), Naomi Ikari (Ronald), Amy Kim (Darrell) and Lily Miyamoto (Earl); and his siblings, Eugene Oshima, Lillian Rivera (Fred) and Bernard Oshima (June). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
