She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy Catalino Laborte; her parents, Masaichi Kim Kapahu and Violet Cabrera; her brothers, Dennis Furtado and Leslie Furtado; and her son Ivan Cabrera.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara Laborte, Kathy Matsuoka (Milton), Jason Cabrera (Lisa), Roxanne Delos Reyes, Jaylou Cabrera (Kili) and Jordan Laborte; her sister-in-law Mareli Furtado; her siblings, Florentino Donato Cabrera (Pat), Thomas Mario Cabrera, Clyde Sonny Cabrera (Betty) and Laurinda Makahanaloa; and her grandchildren, Sebastian Proto-Cabrera, Ikaika Cabrera, Masa Cabrera, Waileka Cabrera, Maverick Matsuoka (Haley), Matthew Matsuoka (Traci), Major Matsuoka (Kat), Joshua Delos Reyes (Helena), Justice Texeira, Joey Texeira and Joanne Texeira. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ballard Family Mortuary (440 Ala Makani St, Kahului, HI 96732). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
