He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Anthony Lonopele Cathcart and Frances Kepeka Niau Cathcart; and his brother Brian Mark Cathcart. He is survived by: his wife Letitia Cabanilla; his children, Ember K. C. Cathcart (Aaron) and Lonopele K. C. Cabanilla (Janal); his grandchildren, Amaya, Treven, Tieken and Liam; and his sister Terry Ann H. C. Young (Earl). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, aunties, uncles, cousins.
