He was predeceased by: his wife Shramane; his siblings, John Kaia, Maryann "Lei" Kaneshiro, Irma "Kaapu" Akima and Elizabeth Seabury; and his grandchildren, Sage Kilinahe, Milo Baclig and Olivia Baclig.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Baclig, Steven Baclig and Keale Baclig; and his sister Shirley Mata.
