In loving memory of Jeanette T. Vares (Kula, Hawaii), who departed this world on April 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Jeanette leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Though Jeanette may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeanette touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Johnny" Moniz Tavares and Helen Pruse Tavares; her son Brian Vares; and her brother Herbert Tavares. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Vares (Crystal) and Carl Vares (Renee). She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at the Holy Ghost Church (4300 Lower Kula Rd, Kula, HI 96790).
