He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carey DePonte; his children, Sherman Dudley DePonte (Dawn), Randy DePonte (Debra) and Terrie Lynn Ward (Timithey); and his brothers, Erwin DePonte and Clifford DePonte. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren.
