He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Nakagawa; his parents, Michael Nakagawa and Alice Nakagawa; and his sister Claire Matsumoto. He is survived by: his siblings, Bernadine Toyama, Blaise Nakagawa (May), Judy Kimura, Joan Takakura and Juliet Katayama (George). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
