With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Sumio Kaku of Kealakekua, Hawaii, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Stanley Sumio leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Kaku of Kealakekua; and his sisters, Jean Murata of Honolulu, Lenora Kelley (Bill) of Honolulu and Lilly Ushiroda of Kealakekua. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
