It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sawako Laura Yano (Kealakekua, Hawaii), born in Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Jocelyn Sakata (Clyde) of Kealakekua, LuAnn Flores (Jonathan) of Rescue, CA. and Brad Yano (Sunok) of Honolulu; and her siblings, John Araki of Waianae, Oahu and Betsey Ban (Robert) of Capt. She is also survived by one grandson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
