He is survived by: his wife Eufrosina Mettao; his children, Geraldine Mettao Fratus (Bryan Fratus), Sheena Mettao Salavaria (Angelito Salavaria) and Jeoffrey Mettao (Lehuapuakea Torres); and his grandchildren, Ezekiel Kana'ipono Mettao of Kealakekua, Hawaii., Gianna Kahilina'iokeānuenue Mettao of Kealakekua, Hawaii. and Shaylan Mettao Salavaria of Kealakekua, Hawaii..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Archangel Church (75-5769 Ali‘i Dr, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740).
