With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Toshio Akamatsu (Kealakekua, Hawaii), who passed away on June 3, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his mother Fujiko Akamatsu of Kealakekua; and his sisters, Mildred Tromberg (Stanley) of Plantation, FL, Linda Camp (Samuel) of Honolulu and Phyllis Alani (Solomon) of Hookena. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
