He is survived by: his wife Abbie Ako of Kealakekua; his children, Daniel Ako (Leslie) of Kealakekua, Alexander Ako, III (Candice) of Redwood City, CA, Eric Ako of Kailua-Kona and Lisa Aukai (Ronnie) of Kailua-Kona; and his brother Harold Ako (Eleanor) of Honolulu. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 nephew; numerous cousins.
