He is survived by: his children, Edwin Viernes, Vincent Bong Viernes (Lorna) of Labut, Magsingal, Philippines, Jamie Retuta Viernes, Jr. (Jennifer) of Keaau, Evelyn Nicolas (Lindbirgh) and Jocelyn Viernes of Keaau; his daughter-in-law Wilma Viernes of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his sister-in-law Mila Viernes of Daly City, California. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
