He is survived by: his children, Randilyn Kawachi-Livingston (Francis "Suki" Livingston) of Waikoloa, Ranelle Kawachi of Hilo and Lance Lee Kawachi (Shawnie) of Hilo; and his sisters, Rosalyn "Susu" Macabio of Pahoa and Lois Lopez (Kalae) of Keaau. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
