With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Josephine Yamamoto of Kapaau, Hawaii, who passed away on October 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, William Yamamoto (Laura) of Kohala, Jerry Yamamoto (Jesse Ann) of Kohala and Joellyn Tadio of Hilo; her daughter-in-law Lanette Yamamoto of Kohala; her sisters, Thelma Pool (Owen) of Arizona and Shirley Henderson of California; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Depontes of Kailua-Kona, Manuel Yamamoto (June) of Kohala, Walter Davis of Kailua-Kona, Hanako Yamamoto of Kohala and Rosemarie Yamamoto of Arizona. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
