She was predeceased by: her stepson Nathan Nitahara (Lynn). She is survived by: her son Wayne Nitahara; her stepdaughters, Roberta Shishido (Garrick) and Shauna Tsuha (Don); and her siblings, Setsuo Tsutsui (Marie), Yvonne Tashiro, Makiko Gishi and Nadine Tokuzato. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
