It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Kozun Yamashiro (Kaneohe, Hawaii), who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Janet M. Primiano, Roy K. Yamashiro, Arlene A. Yamashiro, Diana H. Young, Katherine H. Fukushima and Rosalind N. Akina; his former wife Yoshiko Gibu Yamashiro; and his brother George Kotaro Yamashiro. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
