He is survived by: his wife Sandi Surell; his children, Malia Naths (Norbert), Steven Surell (Kristen) and Brian Surell; his grandchildren, Jazlyn Cannon (Amadeus), Makena Naths, Jaylon Surell and Mason Naths; and his siblings, Nancy DeCorte (Jeff), Rick Surell and Jeannie Surell-Maikai (Fred). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
