It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Bowman in Kailua, Hawaii, who passed away at the age of 92, on November 20, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William John and Ruth Russ Bowman; his daughters, Lin Bowman (Paul McAnelly) of Oregon and Debra Walker (Jim) of Nevada; his stepsons, Tommy Vadnais (Maggie) of California and Patrick Vadnais (Carolyn Street) of California; and also, Jiedan Guan and Baorui Guan. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
He was a member of The Family for 57 years, and he played with the Monday Night band, the Pote's Band and the Thursday Night Jazz band in Honolulu until Covid-19 made it impossible to gather; even then he continued to play at home.
The family requests donations to the Dementia Society in Dick's name (dementiasociety.org) in lieu of flowers.
