He is survived by: his wife Toni; his children, Caitlin Mahelona (Steven) of Kailua Kona and Joel Symons of Seattle, Washington; and his brothers, Steven Symons (Linda) of Shasta Lake, California, Scott Symons of Santa Rosa, California and Jack Symons (Sharon) of Santa Rosa. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
