She is survived by: her children, James Avanilla of Kailua Kona, Jaime Fernandez (Kaliko) of Kailua Kona, Kapono Benson (Wana) of Captain Cook, Kalani Kapela of Hilo, Kenneth Rivera of Kona, Jeanette Thomas (Michael) of Washington and Tanya Mattson (John) of Mililani. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
