We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2018, at the age of 90, Kiyonobu Fred Uechi (Kailua Kona, Hawaii) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Clara Uechi of Kailua-Kona; his children, Barbara Uechi of Kailua-Kona, Melvin Uechi (Sharon) of Las Vegas, NV, Lester Uechi of San Francisco, CA and Jason Uechi (Heidi) of Montclair, NJ; and his siblings, Tom Uechi (Pat) of Honolulu, Fusae Asato of Honolulu and Misako Hironaga of Honolulu. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
