As James Harrison departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Harrison may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Harrison leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elias Ziegler MD and Ruth Ordway Dearborn. He is survived by: his wife Janet DeLong; his children, Katherine Rhynard, Shira Ziegler and James C. Ziegler; and his granddaughters, Samantha Rhynard and Isabella Ziegler.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery (72 Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in his memory be made to the West Hawaii County Band.
