He is survived by: his wife Hermelita Martel of Kailua-Kona; his daughters, Marie-Claude Martel (Robert Maurice) of Montreal, Canada and Eveline Martel of Montreal, Canada; his siblings, Marcel Martel (Rejeanne) of Quebec, Aline Boudreau (Rejean) of Quebec, Canada and Liz Martel of Quebec, Canada; and his stepson Eric Corrales. He is also survived by extended family in the Philippines; 5 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
