It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simeon Rodrigues Carbonel (Kahului, Hawaii), born in Puunene, Hawaii, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Kalawaia-Carbonel. He is survived by: his children, Charnel Kalawaia (Clinton) and Christy Kalawaia; his stepson Craig Kalawaia; his siblings, Stephanie Furcini, Patrick Carbonel and Damien Carbonel; and his grandchildren, Noah Kalawaia, Craig "Bubba" Kalawaia-Hilario, Kalika Kalawaia, Kanale Klawaia, Kiani Kalawaia and Kelia Kalawaia. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
