She was predeceased by: her husband Saul H. Barber; her son Joseph C. Gomes; and her siblings, Myrtle Silva, Lucy Carvalho, Loretta Stumph and Clarence Fernandez.
She is survived by: her sister Beatrice Pettigrew of Ethel Morgan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren.
