It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Sadao Higashi (Kahului, Hawaii), who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sadao and Flora Higashi. He is survived by: his partner Kody Van Buskirk; his parents, Audrey Higashi and Michael Cambong; his sisters, Jessica "Jess" Cambonga (Thor), Michele "Primo" Cambonga (Tylee), Kuuipo Chinen (Lydel) and Kala'i Cambonga; his nephews, Jeremiah Kea and Mikela Chinen; his uncles, Harold Higashi (Rosie), Gene Cambonga (Geri), Freddy Cambonga, Ted "Bay" Bolocano (Mary) and Richard Cambonga (Alvy); his aunt Elly Asibal (Tommy); and his friend Herb Davis. He is also survived by many cousins, family and friends.
