He is survived by: his wife Wilma Mahealani Tabuya; his uncle Mosese Tabuya; his children, Joe Tabuya Jr. (Rachel), Harmony Roy (Laddie) and Amele Joaquin (Eli); his siblings, Wilisoni Tabuya, Reymond Tabuya, Ifereimi Tabuya, Kalo Howard, Amele Tabuya and Ane Mataitini; and his grandchildren, Kamaka, Ikeli, Koula, Kairos, Malie, Waiwai, Kau, Makena and Ikua. He is also survived by his brother and sister in laws.
