He was predeceased by: his son Michael Oishi; and his siblings, Hiroshi Oishi, Manuel Oishi, Masami Oishi, Hazel Hoke, Janet Brown and Tokie Lancaster.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Oishi; his children, Francine Oishi of Tacoma, WA, Judge Patrick Oishi (Janet) of Seattle, WA and Joan Gushiken (Jon) of Kahului; and his grandchildren, Alison Fankhauser (Evan Hess), Isabella Oishi, Alexander Oishi and Timothy Oishi.
