She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin Makaenaikalani Isaacs and Josephine Lilinoe Isaacs; her husband Antone "Tony" Torvi Sturla; her children, Antonette Lei Sturla and Melvin Makaenaikalani Isaacs Sturla; her grandchildren, Wettim, Temashaa, Halasii, Chaahaay Linton, Makoa and Mailani Sturla; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Sturla; and her sisters, Gwendolyn "Sweetheart'Leilani Wetherington, Gayle "Tiny" Newell Kahalehau and Josie Lilinoe Vegas (John).

She even had time and energy for her passion project, fundraising for the American Cancer Society.
