It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Makalapua Iaea of Honolulu, Hawaii, born in Wailuku, Hawaii, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Donald Haliimaile "Chico" Iaea, Sr.; and her children, Dawn Puanani Akina (Robin), Donna Kalei Davis (Kevin), Dale Kehau Kanae (Benjamin, Jr.), Donald Halii Iaea, Jr. (Robyn) and Dana Noe Daliva (Alika). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
