He was predeceased by: his father William Niau. He is survived by: his sisters, Leilani Namahoe (John) and Haunani Lawther (William); and his nieces and nephews, Lucinda Tsutahara (Steve), Candance Kobayashi (Christopher), Lehua Lawther, Keith Lawther, Lopaka Lawther (Mandy), Kawika Lawther (Michelle), Likeke Lawther (Hope) and Kimo Lawther.
