He was predeceased by: his wife Dr. Katherine Ashhurst Treherne; and his brother Carr Alfred Treherne, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Annyce Treherne-Burrough (Thomas Burrough, Jr.), Robert Treherne, Jr. (Alison Treherne), Dr. Leslie Treherne-Fayton (Charles "CJ" Fayton, Jr.), JD and Dr. John Treherne; his grandchildren, Justin Burrough, Savannah Burrough, Sean Treherne, Skylar Treherne, Channing Treherne, Sterling Treherne, Mason Fayton, Bryson Fayton and Cason Fayton; his sisters, Betty Treherne (Anderson Harris) and Thelma "Tee" Treherne (Robert "Bobbo" Daniels); and his sister-in-law Linda Talley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
