She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ebenezer Parkes and Ivy Aleen Brockbank Parkes; her sisters, Beverly and Kay; her husbands, Verland T Whipple and Gamal Ghanem; and also Willard.

She is survived by: her son Thayne Whipple; her daughter-in-law Sheryl B. Whipple; and her grandchildren, Graham Whipple, Haven Whipple, Parkes Whipple and Sage Whipple. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
