She was predeceased by: her brother Gilbert Chun (Etta); her husband Colbert Hiura; and her parents, Hyung Koon and Nancy Sabah Chun. She is survived by: her children, Laraine, Craig and Brian Hong (Susan Hodge); her grandchildren, Melia and Kory Hong; and her nieces and nephews, Laurie McEnery (Walter), Pamela Wilt (Daniel), Nathan Chun, Liane Freitas (Steve), Laura Woods (Alfred), Steve (Lesa) and Stacey Fukuchi. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel (1330 Maunakea St, Honolulu, HI 96817). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
