She was predeceased by: her parents, Doña Lesvia Cruz Mendoza and Don Edwin Marrero Rivera; and her son Ruben Maisonet-Marrero, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Hector Maisonet-Marrero of Spring Lake, NC. and Darma Rodriguez-Maisonet of Honolulu, HI. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
