She was predeceased by: her mother Margaret F. Shelton; her son Darrin Lee Rivera; and her siblings, Diana Canario, Robert Kopke, Russell, Leroy and Gary Shelton.
She is survived by: her close friend Ivan Peroff; her granddaughter Rachel Miranda-Rivera; her great grandchild Kaichelle Scanlan-Kaai; and her brothers, Ricky and Thomas Shelton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
