He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maximo Albete Mier and Euella Taitano Olive Mier; his wife Marlene Puanani Aken Mier; his children, Raymond Kenji Mier (Gina), Leo Kimo Mier (Jing), Lorraine Kaori Mier Brentnell (David) of Brandon, K. K and William K. K. Kekahuna (Chantell); his grandchildren, Ronnie M. D. Mier (Yvonne), Tatianna Putri Leimomi Galizia (Matthew), Henry "Eha" Polohau Kahula IV of Reynalynn, M. D, Anderson (Quentin), Sophia Kai Mier, Lyric Palu, Caroline Kekahuna and Lexcen Kekahuna; his great grandchild Ezra Mier; and his siblings, Albert Mier, Michael Mier, Carolyn Mendiola and Doreen Winkler. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Oahu Cemetery Chapel (2162 Nuuanu Ave, Honolulu, HI 96817). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery (45-349 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744).
