It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Efren Reyes Kanuha of Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hannah Manibog; his siblings, Hiram "Malaki" Kanuha and Delanie Kanuha; and his parents-in-law, Lorenzo and Hilaria Benito.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Kanuha; his children, Shannah Kanuha and Loren Kanuha (Esther); his grandchildren, Athena Kanuha and Ka'ano'i Kanuha; his siblings, Marcelo Kanuha, Adrian Kanuha (Robbie) and Bernardine Manibog (Ricky Colobong); and his sister-in-law Theone Kanuha. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
